You order the board once, when the property is instructed. From then on the board follows the sale by itself: sale agreed in Street changes the slip, exchange books the collection for completion day, a withdrawal collects it. The Boards page shows your branch's live Agency Express book, the movements ordered through the tool, and any property on the market with no board.
1
You order it
After a photo order or Terms send, the pop-up offers Order a board with the address filled in. Tick it, check the details, send. Or use the Order button on the Boards page's "no board yet" list.
You
2
It goes up
Agency Express erect it - ordered before 5:30pm, it is on the next working day's round. The row shows requested until their operator confirms it is up.
Automatic
3
It follows the sale
Sale agreed in Street - the slip changes to Sale Agreed. Exchange - collection is booked for completion day. Withdrawn - the board is collected. Nothing to phone through.
Automatic

Fall-throughs ask you
A fallen-through sale never moves a board on its own. The branch gets an email and the property joins Needs a decision: Back to For Sale, Collect, or Dismiss.
You
What each Street status does to the board
Sold STC→Slip changed to Sale Agreed
Exchanged→Collection ordered for completion day (exchange and completion on the same day - the next working day)
Completed→Collection ordered, if it was not already booked at exchange
Withdrawn→Collection ordered - the property is off the market (sales and lettings alike)
Sale fallen through→Nothing automatic. Branch email + the Needs a decision queue: Back to For Sale, Collect, or Dismiss
Let agreed→Slip changed to Let By (Agency Express's agreed-let slip)
Tenancy created→Collection ordered for the tenancy start date (no date yet - the next working day)
Cutoff: orders placed before 5:30pm Monday-Saturday go on the next working day's round. After that, the day after.
The automation only follows Street. Keep the sale's status right in Street and the board keeps itself right within the hour.
Refused erections (no suitable spot, occupant refused...) email the branch and whoever ordered, with the operator's reason.
Boards ordered directly with Agency Express in the past show in the book unlinked - the automation cannot touch them until they are linked to their Street property.
What you do
1
Order at instruction. The board section needs the Street property selected - that is what ties the board to the sale so the automation can follow it. Check the house number and postcode; that is the address Agency Express work to.
2
Use the Boards page for everything after. Pick your branch. Linked rows in the book have Slip change, Re-erect, Service and Collect actions; a movement still showing requested can be cancelled until it is on an operator's round.
3
Link the old boards. An unlinked book row has a Link to Street button - pick the right property from the suggestions and confirm. That one click brings an existing board into the automation.
4
Answer the Needs a decision queue. When a sale falls through, choose whether the board goes back to For Sale or comes down. Nothing happens until someone picks.
What you'll see on a movement
requested
Agency Express have the order. It stays requested until the operator's round is closed off - usually confirmed the next morning.
completed
The operator has done it. The page checks for completions on every load and each morning by itself.
refused
The operator could not do it - the reason shows on the row and the branch and orderer get an email.
adopted
Not an order - an existing board that was linked to its Street property, now under the automation.
Needs a decision
A fallen-through sale waiting for Back to For Sale, Collect, or Dismiss.
Board still showing the old slip?
The slip follows Street's sale status, checked hourly. If Street is right and the board row is not, use the row's Slip change action - and check the property is actually linked (unlinked boards never move by themselves).
Ordered a board by mistake?
Cancel it from Recent movements while it still shows requested. Once it is on an operator's round Agency Express will refuse the cancellation - let it complete, then use Collect.
Never order the same address twice
If a property already has a board in the book (even one ordered directly in the past), link it rather than ordering again - a second order sends a second physical board to the house.
